Day 1: Tarangire National Park and Masai Village Visit

5:00 AM departure from the hotel and flight from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania. The first stop is Tarangire National Park. This place is rightfully considered one of Tanzania's most amazing corners. The landscapes with ancient baobabs and vast savannas create a picturesque atmosphere, and the diversity of wildlife is astonishing. Here you can encounter elephants – the pride of the park, as well as zebras, giraffes, antelopes, lions, and other animals.

A picnic stop is planned for lunch in a picturesque location, after which the safari will continue until evening. After finishing the day, you will head to a traditional Maasai village. This is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the culture, dances, and traditions of one of Africa's most famous tribes. In the evening, you will transfer to the hotel and rest.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater - A Natural Masterpiece

After an early breakfast, you will head to one of Tanzania's top attractions – the Ngorongoro Crater. This unique conservation area is home to over 25,000 animals and is a true natural wonder.

Approximately an hour after departing, you will find yourself inside the crater, where savannas, mountain forests, and Lake Magadi create ideal conditions for wildlife viewing. Here you will see hippos, buffalo, black rhinos, zebras, antelopes, and numerous predators, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, and jackals. At Lake Magadi, you will be greeted by vibrant flocks of pink flamingos. After lunch, you will head to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, concluding a rich adventure.

Take with you:

  • Passport. Even though Zanzibar is part of Tanzania, we all go through passport control at the airport.
  • Comfortable shoes and clothing. Llightweight pants, long-sleeved shirt, t-shirt, personal items (up to 5 kg)
  • A jacket, in case of rain or a cool evening
  • Photo and video equipment. Charge your devices in advance.
  • Break your money into small bills. They’ll come in handy for buying souvenirs and tipping the rangers. The recommended tip is 5$ per person.
  • Morning snack (at the hotel reception, explain that you are leaving early in the morning for an excursion and need a lunch box, the hotel will provide this service free of charge)
  • Sunglasses and a panama hat, sunscreen
